Unfortunately you cant bring the colour back, t-cut doesn't work, it will leave your car looking really patchy, the colour has faded under the laquer so you can polish and buff it all day long but it will only leave you with a still faded but very clean motor :D The only option for kiwi yellow when its badly faded is a full respray but that will probably set you back the best part of a grand, unless you know someone who will do it on the cheap :)
vinyl wrap it in a close colour match

well thats gutting :(
eny ideas how much a vinyl wrap would cost working on a bit of a budget and I got quiet a bit of work to do
will be half or less than a respray but wont last as long or could peel.
But with a good detail, the faded Kiwi can look good.
Mine's (http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=259742) faded a lot, I prefer the colour to the original Kiwi.......
Why can you not bring colour back? is the lacquer non UV resistant?

Looking at the pics of yours it dont look that faded mate, ive had acouple of kiwi's now and is it just me or do all of them seem to fade more on one side than the other?? My bonnet and roof are a couple of shades off being white, but i've noticed it depends what light you look at as to how bad it looks. But yeh I know hat you mean about the faded colour it is quite nice :D

It's down to the pigments in the paint Maz. The colour in the paint itself breaks down with UV exposure and changes colour. On non-clear coated paintwork that wouldn't be too much of problem because you could polish and remove the top layer of faded/oxidised paint. But on clear coated paintwork the damaged layer is locked away by the clear coat so you can't get rid of damaged layer.
