Just noticed.... the yellow illumination for the "AUTO" position on my switch has stopped working:cry:

All other switch illumination is OK.... just the yellow...

First and only minor issue with the new car.... I hope...

That's nothing to what I've had...

What you had wrong?

This is just a very minor issue which I am going to speak to them tomorrow to get fixed on my next weekend off (2 weeks) just a bit of an irritation... I think the bulb for the yellow must have blown, all other switch illumination works OK, and this did yesterday :(

Only other thing is the brakes squeal first thing in this morning, only notice it when I backed out of the garage, once moving they where OK, dam loud though :).... maybe because they were damp from the rain yesterday...

Get them fixed on the 4th...

Mine went into limp mode when in the fast lane of the M1 in rain, it's happened a few times now all at speed in heavy rain.
It's been in for repair and they found a relay box with a screw missing allowing water to get into the wiring and messing up the ecu..

Haven't driven in the same conditions so only time will tell if they've sorted it or not..

Just to make sure I am not mad.... just tried to explain to the Dealer...

Can anyone confirm that when the lights are off..... the headlamp switch is in the "AUTO" position, that the "AUTO" is illuminated in yellow? there may also be a green "side lamps" position illuminated...

Dealer has tried to check another car, but as it was darkish and raining the lights came on, so the yellow goes out...

Will check mine at lunchtime Stu, but I've got a feeling that if the lights are not on, then the 'auto' is not illuminated.....

Think it only comes on when the headlamps actually are on.....

That would be good, thank you....

I am 99% sure that if the switch is in the auto position, but the lights are off, the "auto" logo was yellow, once the lights came on it changed to red...

I have the "coming home" feature on, so when I opened the car, the fog lamps illuminate, and noticed the "auto" was yellow", and the next logo down, "sidelights" was green... I am sure I was not imagining this.... my Leon did the same...

I think I have convinced the Dealer that it should light up amber..... :D but any confirmation would be good..

Sorry Stu, didn't get chance to pop out to the car during daylight, work was mental today!

and when I did get out at 5pm it was dark, so the lights were on anyway!

will try and remember to check on the way to work tomorrow.....

Amber is illuminated when Auto is selected and lights are not on ;)

Excellent... I knew I was not going mad :)

I think I have convinced the Dealer now, after trying all day yesterday... just need to get a new switch fitted :)

Stu is correct.

When switch is in 'Auto' it will illuminate yellow when the lights are off.

That's the on :)

Dealer that supplied the car, and did not believe I had a problem, would not order a switch until they looked at it... when I asked why not as it will need a new switch, .... he was going to check to see if he could, and ring be back...... that was Monday! still waiting....

I have now spoken to another dealer, who said no problem, I will order the switch just in case, bring the car in on the 4th!

Job sorted....

He could not understand the problem, he said we have 3 weeks to send it back if we don't want it...

I can confirm that as soon as you unlock your car the yellow light will turn on, also during daylight.

I realised yesterday mine is the same as yours, Stu. Oddly though, the sidelights light is on most of the time?
