Is it just mine or did SEAT always fit a sh*tty single tone horn to the Cupra's? It really wouldn't scare a mouse....

Flapper, have you got a part number for the twin tone jobby that the Toledo V5 had as my old one used to wake the dead. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/tongue.gif

It's not just yours mate - I got my Leon 20VT on Monday just gone and the horn is embarrassingly bad.

Just have to put the window down and shout and people instead for now! http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif

My Leon Cupra sounds like something that julian cleary should be driving when i beep the horn!AAAAGGGHHHH!My previous SEATS had decent horns so i'll be upgrading to a set of twin tones or air horns as i can't stand the feeble fart that my proud Leon makes at the mo.
A decent horn should sound a decent "fast car coming through" note in my book

My horn also makes a hell of a noise. I wonder if those with girly tones are the new specced Cupra's?

Sounds like the general concensus of opinion is that the standard horn is sh*te and needs filing under D for dustbin. As I said my old Toledo V5 had really good twin tone airhorns as standard so these must fit as the engine bay is basically the same as the Toledo except for the intercooler which is fitted on the Leon. No response from Flapper yet re part numbers.....

no worries in this dept - the horn is superb,
yeah does sound like more cost cutting,
as with a few others my steering wheel is also slightly offset - strange ???
