View Full Version : Mosser.....LPG?
Mosser.
Are you the same Mosser that posted on the Upsolute BBS regarding LPG? (Surely there can only be one Mosser http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/wink.gif )
I posted a question regarding "what LPG company".
I'm just interested by the way......'cos "non-lpg convertability" was the reason I finally plumped for the TDI.....
------------------
Yup, that is me, I have two companies that are able to convert my leon to run on lpg, you cant convert a leon with the old systems with vaporisers, you have to use a direct injection system because of the turbo, but both of the companies have done lots of turbo'd cars,
I will probably be converting it in about 2-3 months time though as its quite expensive at £1200 !!

Mosser - who are the companies?
Is the Leon now approved for govt subsidy?
Cheers,
Mik

I'm afraid the Leon 20VT is'nt on the subsidy list, and never will be because it's emissions aren't good enough and it's too powerful!,
They only seem to give subsidys to lower powered or very low emission cars, and the Leon is neither of these !!

Cooooeeeeyyy.......MMMMMoooooosssssseeeeeeerrrr....
Are you there?
Did you get the company names (or can't you find them amid all the jaz-mags?) http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/tongue.gif
------------------
Hi, sorry for the delay in responding, but the paperwork has totally disappeared!!,
If you go here http://www.lpga.co.uk/approved_conversion.htm you can phone around as there as loads of companies listed that are approved,
I found them on this list but cant remember which two said they could do it, i have a feeling one of them was the place at hook in hampshire,
Hope this helps you, I will be phoning around in a few months again to see what they can offer, but there are places that can definitly convert a turbo'd Leon
