So how do these two compare besides the obvious physical differences?

Is the latter a weighted linkage whereas the former is a shorter throw lever? If so I assume they can be used together. Don't know much about these things though.

Ibiza 20VT 02J g'box already has a weighted shifter.... Hockey puck thing to look at on g'box.

yeah seen it (got the green oil breather filter Jammed between it and thought the gear box had gone cause i lost 2nd/4th) :redface: :redface:

Still , where can you get one from? I only found for the ibiza , is it the same for the leon ? because the gearboxes aren't the same i guess not

i dont know about the ibiza kits but i have driven a car before + after a short shift kit was fitted and it makes a brilliant difference
