View Full Version : DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OLD SPEC & NEW

Due to my first Leon Cupra being replaced due to a serious malfunction - I am wondering what the differences will be between my old car (purchased in March 2001) and the new one I will be getting within the next couple of weeks?? I know that there are no Cupra badges and that the exhaust system has changed - what else??

The new ones are mising the following as far as I know:
No rain sense pack.
No self dipping rear view mirror.
No ESP (just traction control and ABS).
No stereo display in the instrument panel.
and Leather is an option, not std.
I think that's it....
I can only presume that this is why the price fell from 18 to 15...

Oh, and no memory function if you go for leather option.

Weird - my old Leon Cupra had:
Stereo Display in the instrument panel
Power Supply in the Boot
Headphone sockets for rear seats
ESP
BUT didn't have:
Rain sense pack.
Self dipping rear view mirror.
Leather

My blank leon cupra from Emmer Green in Reading, bought as showroom car (not the demo car)
No radio display on instrument panel
No headphone sockets
No auto dip mirror when in reverse
No power soicket in boot
Did'nt order leather so !
Did get locking wheel nuts which wasnt expecting but was expecting power socket in boot and it was not there (but was on the red demo car I drove)
