I'm curious if the serial speakers are they any good. I'll put the sub in the car, but I'm not that exacting about the speakers. All I want is that they'll not crack when I'll turn the volume a little bit, but I don't need some special quality. I saw some posts where they say that they're shite. Can someone tell me if they're really that bad or can I live with them if I want from time to time listen the music a little louder.
Thanks
Ha! A thorny subject with us Beeza owners thats for sure!
They are shite really. I think most of us all expected something a lot better as standard.
They cant handle any bass at all.
But, if you say you only want a bit of volume now and again you might be able to put up with them. Just mess about with settings and you can get a passable sound out of them. lol
Most of us turn them up at some point to drown out the rattles.
Depends what type of music you listen to? Anything with huge amounts of bass is going to distort.

I'll definitly connect the subwoofer to the radio. I like the music with bass, but maybe I can shut down the low frequencys on speakers, since the subwofoer will do his work. Has anyone tried it or did you all replace the speakers.

Hi Surfer,
I got rid of my standard speakers a week after I got my 20VT. They are crap paper-coned units that give a really hollow, cheap sound. I replaced the front units with MB Quart Reference series (Hid the crossovers on the back of the door panels) and connected the back two speaker wires to a 100W Pioneer Active Bass Tube. I would like to change the head unit, but after seeing how much work is involved, its not worth the hassle. The whole job cost me about £400 but it sounds 100% better.
It might not be show quality sound but the treble is crisp and clear and the bass is enough to shake my rear view mirror!
Cheers.

I'm working on fitting the faceplate of my Alpine Commander into the drivers' sun-visor.
If I go for it, I'll take some piccies and let you see how it went...:)

The speakers are absolutely useless.
I'll be replacing all 4 - leaving the (new) rear ones connected to the standard unit + changer, and sticking a sub and changer in the boot, speakers in the shelf, and nice components in the front doors with some ampage to go along with all that...
Should be good. Should be LOUD + CLEAR :D :D :D
