hi, just picked up a 2001 beezer cupra, looking to change the wheels, can anyone tell me the pcd i would need? what about offset? any help/advice appreciated, am keeping the suspension standard, and looking at 16" alloys.

Hiya mate,

Congrats on getting the Cupra !! ;) Good choice !!

As far as wheels go, you need the following: PCD 4x100 and ET35-38 Offset.

dude, you gotta get at least a seat sport suspension kit - it makes SOOOO much diff

yeah currently looking into suspension, was gonna leave it standard (apart from revo obviously) but then watched fast and furious last nite...curse that film! trouble is, tricky to get hold of seat sport kit right? was thinking hr cup kit - but worried cos looks insanely low, and ride might be too harsh...

Gear change on mine is great. Very direct, finds every gear easily unlike my old Vauxhall Nova!:D

Go for 17's mate as price difference is negligable and looks much better. And make sure they can accomodate brembo's as, even tho you dont know it yet you will want them in the future so save yourself cash by getting the right rims first time. Seen this happen loads of times "Wheels for sale due to wanting brembo's!!" :D ;)
