Hi, my name's Alan, I've joined as i'm looking to buy a Leon FR TDI very soon and i'm looking for info.
I'm from Sussex and currently drive a lightly modded Pug 206GTi180 which will soon be for sale. I also own a fully modified 306 which I use mainly in the summer and for shows.
Looking forward to getting a TDi as I need to save money on the daily commute.
Hopefully be a bit more active when I find out a bit more and actually own one.

Well I'm on 140,000 miles with my Cordy and it's still sweet as. You should see the mental milage over in the states on their vag tdi's, 2-300,000 easy and still selling for a packet! I see some of them and I can't help thinking "you paid how much?":D

1999 vario 1.9TDI....Used daily 144,000 :)
Going to get new front struts and discs this week!
1996 bog standard D. Saloon....currently having rear wheel arches replaced, 136,000.
What would you say is best servicing proceedure - IE DO IT YOURSELF and mileage /time interval to keep these engines running sweet??????
