View Full Version : Cupra Floor Mats
Took my floor mats out for a bit of a clean last weekend & noticed that the drivers mat is nearly worn thro' at the heel pad!
So, I've had a look at the accessories catalogue on the main SEAT UK website & noticed that there is a Cupra Sport floor mat available for the '99-'02 Ibiza. The part is 6K2 863 709 NJHZ for the front right. Does anyone have these fitted or have any pics? At £29.99 each, I hope they are good quality ones.
I've attached a pic of my rather worn out drivers mat. Are these the same or are they different?
where can i pick up the seat accessories mag for the mk3 ibiza?? there isn't a local seat dealer in the area.
sorry for being off topic
Yeah I could do with some mat protection as mine are getting pretty thin too! Was looking for a metal plate, but all I've found were way too over the top :( these things sound just the ticket... if only I'd asked for a catalogue this morning... was over dealership way getting new drivers seat belt. BUGGER!

...they make some great quality mats and prices are pretty reasonable. I had a set of 'Diplomat' (mid range) ones in my last car and they were bloody good.

Go to SEAT UK Website (http://www.seat.co.uk). The accessories catologue is on the bottom right corner.
The nearest dealer to Boro is David Penmanns in Darlington. Although, I've noticed that SEAT are building a new showroom next to the new Ford Jennings garage at the Cargo Fleet roundabout (A66).
Nobody got any pics of the Cupra floors then?
My cupra mats are nearly worn through as well. Not like the ones in the picture though. All balck with no logos. Got a pressit type fastner on top and two at bottom of mat that click onto studs on the cars carpet to hold mat in place. I will see if I can get a picture tomorrow.

Yep, ditto.
The mats in the pic above actually look better quality to be honest.
Not even a heel pad on mine, pretty crappy really.

I think my mats are described as "luxury mats" in the catologue, but they have a different part no. to the Cupra mats.
TBH, the heel pad is only fractionally thicker than the mat itself.
I'll soon find out what the Cupra Sport mat looks like 'cos I've just ordered one from the dealer!!:) Should arrive on Tuesday.
Piccies when you get it please.:D

Those mats would be cool.
I hoping the mat I've just ordered has the SEAT Sport logo on it. The guy in the parts dept hadn't got a clue what they looked like 'cos he'd never ordered them before!
I'll post some pics when it eventually arrives.

I don't see anyone else trying;) And I won't be the one doing the embroidery or buying in the mats so yo have to rely on other people;)
when i pick up my ibiza cupra r i ask for cupra carpets little did i know what a load of crap they were i thought i was getting a high quality carpet but the poppers just keep falling off after the 10th time i had taken bat 3 carpets i gave up now my cupra has the rear carpets with no poppers.and the price dont even get me started.

I know, I was just joking mate
Just had a look over on the SEAT international site, and they offer Sport mats for the Mk4. If these fit the Mk3, then I maybe tempted to go for these.
Pic attached.
Not over keen on the ally heel pad, though. A bit too 'Max Power' for my liking!
Well, got a phone call from the dealer to say that my mat is ready to collect. Great! Popped down to pick it up, only to find that they had ordered the passenger side!
Didn't see any logo on passenger side & the quality didn't look any better than my current 'luxury' mats.
I hope the drivers side has a logo & adequate heel pad on it, otherwise they're not worth £30 each.
Still, I won't have wasted my money, 'cos the guy in the parts dept will have gained a pair of front mats for his Ibiza!!!:D

the mats i got with the TDI are plain black.
I would be interested in replacing them with some decent logo'd ones - I like the tax disc holders - Is anyone going to produce another run of those ????
The ones I had with the Estillo were specific to that edition - they were good quality carpet mats with multicolour piping round the edge of all four mats.
I'm not holding my hopes up too high.
I think the Autostyle mats with the SEAT Sport logo are becoming a better option.
Not sure which ones I've got- they're similar to the pic, but with red piping and no heelpad. Looks the business, but the driver side is wearing quickly after a year :(
i made my own from lightweight chequer plate they never wear out either
