removing the Aura

How do you get the aura HU out.

IIRC there's a special key that need to be pressed on either side of HU to lease the tabs that hold it in.

Old kenwood keys, or a couple of strips of old cut up credit card in the two slots in the front of the HU.

tried the credit card strips with no luck but will have another go. has any body got the old kenwood keys that ice man mentioned

I got mine out using 2 teaspoons!
Stuck them in the holes on the headunit and out come the old girl!!

I found that the key to removing the Aura is wiggling the credit card strips from side to side. Then you should notice a click as the clips move out of the way.

managed to get the hu out using the teaspoons suggested by cupra rob, cheers for that top tip mate

have since mad my own more permanet keys.smooth edged meatl strips that are the size required for the clips with rubber insulating handles...wat i was bored.:)

just removed my aura, needed 2 people one person sticks the credit card bits in the corners, take the volume control button off and the other person pulls the volume knob with pliers, easy :)
