Hi Guys,

How booked up are you on saturdays for servicing?

My 05 LCR needs a regular service. Its 64k and the belts were changed last service, so I dont think its a massive one.

thanks

Ben

Hi Ben,

We could do that not a problem, what date did you have in mind?

Thanks

Hi Ben,

Unfortunately not no. We're actually over booked for tomorrow.

Do you have any other dates in mind?

Apologies
Kevin

Thats fine kev, I didn't expect you would have space!

I may be able to do the 22nd of Jan but I may be in Brighton with work (should find out later today), If not it would be the 5th of feb.

How are you booked for these dates?

Cheers

Ben

Hi Kev,

All booked in for the 5th.

Just thought, I have an uprated dog bone mount to fit. As you will likely have the car on ramps anyway, would you have time and how much extra to fit the DBM?

thanks

Ben

Hi Ben,

That'd be fine, just bring it along when you come for your service.

I noticed at the weekend some oil residue around one of the injectors - are o-ring seals something you hold in stock?

jabbasport

Yeah, we hold all parts in stock for the injectors as we also provide injector servicing..

Would you just want us to replace the lower o-rings on the injectors themselves?

Yeah I guess just the o-ring seals unless there is any obvious damage/defects on the seats. Its more of an oil residue than actual fuel leaking, if that helps diagnose.

Having said that, how much is your injector servicing? and what does it involve?

jabbasport

It's around £30 per injector.

If we just replaced the lower o-ring i'd just charge £32 inc VAT.

That's labour to remove injectors, change o-rings and re-install.

Sorry thats confused me a bit,

The injector servicing is around £30 per injector, but to just change the lower o-rings would be £32 inc Vat for all 4?

Or is it £32 each?

jabbasport

£30 per injector for a full service, so £120 total.

Or £32 total to replace the o-rings, so £8 each.

Thanks

I will just go for the o-rings then.

I wonder how many other things I can get you to cram into a saturday service!!

Cheers
