Still not available for the Ibiza though. :(
As you know, Jabbasport do a 290-300 conversion for half the price of the APR one. Definately on my shopping list!

Hi BenS1

The cost of the kit for the Ibiza is incorrect. We will not be producing the stage 3 for the Ibiza as displayed on the website. The kit for the ibiza as and when we do it, will be a K-04 package with everything required to make a nice conversion, and not just slapped on with some half hearted software. We will have to take into account injectors and fuel pump and intake cooling amongst other things. Our Stage 3 as you see it is planned for the Leon once we have redesigned the various castings that will interfere with the brake master/ servo etc.on the RHD cars. Also our kit as 14 months of R&D in it using the highest quality components like inconel 625 (aircraft) material for the exhaust manifold, which is investment cast and not sand cast, and comes with a lifetime warranty against cracking etc. Amongst other things, please take a look at how many other cast pieces are within the kit ! When the kit becomes available for a particular model, it will have had considerable development time put into it and not just made to fit. If any body is looking for a pre-fabricated kit, then expect to pay half of that!. Unfortunatly thats not what we are about. Quality comes at a price, but not customer service-that should be free to everybody.

Boy! BenS1- you have caught me on a bad morning! Sorry to have going on a little.

regards

Hi Mark,

Any idea when this Ibiza kit will be ready, how much power it will produce and roughly how much it will cost? I know you can't give exact figures but ballpark figures (1 month, 6 months, 1Year+?), (£1000-£2000, £2000-£3000, £3000-£4000?).

Right now (In my personal opinion) I'd say that you (APR) and Jabbasport are the two conversion companies that I would consider using.

Mark, have you considered offering a warantee on the conversion like Oettinger do? If you are worried about risks (Which your shouldn't be if you have confidence in the product.) then you can get the warantee done though a 3rd party warantee company... I'm sure you could offer the warantee at a small cost increase.

Thanks
Ben
