I would be pleased if anybody out there could advise me with my defective reversing sensors. With the car in reverse gear and no where near an object I get 3 blips and the a con tinuous sound. The car is a Teledo 2007 with running gear the same as the Altea. How do I get to the sensors built into the rear bumper and the sounding device? Thanking you in anticipation. aggie.

Without meaning to be obvious have you checked they are not dirty. If you get even a tiny amount of dirt in them it can cause your prob.
It's worth giving them a wipe to make sure they are clean as mentioned.
I believe that in order to get to the back of them you have to take off the bumper but i'm not sure on the process for that. The sensor module should be located on the left side of the boot, behind the panel
