First mod to my Cupra is going to be a nice set of 17" O-Z racing crono-evo 5 spokes with 225/45x17 rubber. Have just been quoted £1078 !!!! inc 4 tyres. Anyone know where I can get them cheaper?

Got any piccies?
Why not stick with the standard wheels and get a Bilstein PSS9 suspension kit instead?
Then just have a lot of fun ripping the shit out of your crappy P6000s/whatever???

try this

sex on a stick.

Funny you should say about the P6000's. My Toledo had Dunlop SP Sport 2000's and they seemed to have a bit more bite into corners than the Pirelli's

www.webtyres.com (http://www.webtyres.com) have them for £182 each.

Tyres....you didn't specify, so:-
Kuhmo 711 ~ £65
Falken FK451 ~ £86
Conti Sport ~ £116
P6000 ~ £116

So 4-off for £988 to £1192 (plus postage ~ approx £16 from memory)

Or (depending how much of a tart you are) you could go for Adikt "Speed" in this size instead of the Chrono's......only £95 each. (VERY similar style ~ Adikt are imported by Yokohama (like TSW wheels)).

Could have a set of 4 with Kuhmos for a mere £640 (which leaves you change for decent tyres!)

Max m8, don't like em!
To me they're from the old stylee dish design.
Good modern alloys have the spokes going all the way to the outside of the rim. Just check out how awesome those alloys look on the new Leon Cupra R, the shiny monsters they put on the new M3 and those grey beauties that are on the Civic Type R http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/biggrin.gif
btw, Costco sell 17" Michelin Pilot Sports for between £120-130 all in, iirc

I know what you mean about the wheels. I dont want the car to end up looking like something out of Max Power though...... every tw*t in the world 'll try and nick it.

I saw a Leon in Spain while I was on holiday last month with OZ's on it and they really suited the car.

Have you looked at Radius R2's (£150 each from Webtyres)? (look on their site to see them)

These are offered as an option (in Europe only?) in 7"x17" and come with a Seat badge instead of the Radius one.

Have a look on seat.com (it's all Flash so I can't send you to the right page.....go to "Leon", then "accessories", then "racing alloy wheels", then "radius")

I don't usually like wheels with "twisted" spokes, but the "What Car" fleet Cupra had these, and IMHO is the best looking Leon I have seen. (much nicer than the new Cupra-R alloys). Totally gorgeous.

Those Radius Alloys are the cat's knackers! As soon as I get my Leon Cupra back from the garage, I'm getting a set!!

Max,
225/45s might give you some trouble if you are dropping the ride height - I had some 205/40s and they were too big on the radius on full lock. I've got some 225/35s pirelli p7000s on 17 inch rims and they just fit - dig that tramlining ;-).Yokohama do that size in the A520 tyre as well.
Try Micheldever tyres for the OZ kit they can usually beat anyone on tyre price I use them - and Autocar use them for all their long term cars.
Web site is Http://www.micheldever.co.uk

Be Lucky......

Ignore the comment about the 225 / 45s I had my Cordie head on.
Check out Micheldever though.

What about 18's!!!!!

Lust been looking at SEAT's main spanish site and noticed they are doing "SEAT" logo'd OZ's.... even better. They need to do something about that macromedia flash website though. It's shite and takes half an hour to load anything! Any of you parts guys give a price for them as they must be available to order over here?

Max - Daz is gettin mixed up..(must have thought he was in the Ibiza forum)... http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif

Follow the link he has provided....the prices are there....

£199 per wheel for the Oz F1 cups or the Speedlines.
£149 per wheel for the Radius R2s
(Both in 7"x17")

These look like "buy outright" prices, so reckon you'll not "trade-in" your standard wheels.

yep... its going to have to be those OZ F1 SEAT logo'd ones. Pitty they charge so much for them. OZ F1's are available at £168 near me so why the f*** do SEAT charge £200 each? http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/mad.gif Anyway should look well sexy once I've well and truly demolished the bank account http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/biggrin.gif http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/biggrin.gif http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/biggrin.gif http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/wink.gif

Its on the budget for next month. Unfortunately £800 for wheels plus another £400 for tyres is a bit of a dent in the monthly income!!! OUCH!

Will post some pickies as soon as they're on.

Cupra_pilot :- look at www.seat.co.uk (http://www.seat.co.uk) to see the range we get.

UK Cupra is (FWD) 1.8T in what I believe is your "Sport" trim.....comes on the 16" 20-spokes with a load of European "optional" equipment as standard.

We don't get:-
- 2.8 Cupra.
- TDI150 Cupra.
