I have a problem ,last week engine just died ,very jerky,rough running ,power just dies ,not limp mode ie running but low power.Connected to mates vagcom ,fault came up torque 2 exceeded or something simular,i thought coil packs,so changed them.The b*****d has gone again,it will reset when ignition is turned off and re started.Has already had a new maf 2 weeks ago,but i have been trying a n75j,could this be causing overboost problems with revo chip.Always happens at slow speeds? HELP.:( Andy.
Andy, in a word yes.
If you want more boost, just wind it up with your sps3. The J valve reacts slower and therefore actual boost exceeds requested. If it excedes it by too much you can throw overboost codes, or torque exceeded codes.
The sps3 will give you controlled boost increases, and all of the programing that controls the boost is writen around the standard n75.

Thanks John,i will swap n75 back and try it .Would a milltek golf front pipe and cat fit my A3 and would it fit with my S3 milltek cat back? size on cat back 70mm piping.How much difference should i get from full exhaust.:cheers: Andy
I don't know to be honest Andy. The tt/s3 has a twin pipe with a bend off the turbo to clear the transferbox and driveshaft to the rear wheels, but this won't fit your turbo. Don't know if the single pipe of the 2wd cars would clear it. Ask milltek. Other option is get a custom one made, with the option of a decat pipe. It'll probably be cheaper than the milltek anyway.

Thinking of replacing my N75J back to OE, Still getting this sluggish effect at above 4000revs Seems to be getting worse it was well slow after 100mph and I could only just reach 130mph the other day and I've had 140's out of it before 6months or so ago. Also replaced the Maf to no prevail and 90 quid down from ECS tuning USA. Been reading the guides section on Revo web site and Kev rights about 5 main sensors that revo needs to be working in there perameters to get full performance out of revo, maf beeing one of them.
Its deffo not heat soak theres defo a small little problem thats being a bugga to find!! What other sensors are worth replacing?
