Respaying front bumper

Never done this so would like some help please.

Someone has reversed into me and the paint has splintered off the front bumper. It requires more than just a simple touch up.

Got the paint and lacquer (primer still on bumper) but want to make sure I get a good finish without looking like it has just been painted over.

Anyone handy at this type of stuff?

nice dry day windless to work on,

your gona need (plastic) primer to stand any chance of it keying into the exsisting paint

mask off surrounding area that you don want overspray all over

lightly sand each coat allow around 30 mins in between each coat with 1000 -1200 grit wet & dry

once paint & laquer has fully cured (48 hours with a bit of t-cut or t-cut colourfast or simulur try and blend the finish together

you wont acheive a finsh without looking like it has just been painted over unless your shit hot at doing this kinda thing, even 'professinals' will struggle to acheive this with spraycans (ask Toxxin)
