I have fitted an ICS DAB 100 unit in the estate part of my ST. At the moment it is plugged into the rear 12V socket on the drivers side. I want to tidy up the installation and am looking for a permanent 12V feed in the rear quarter. It's easy to get at the wiring around the rear lights & 12V socket via the drop down storage door. Is there likely to be a permanent 12V though? The 12V socket only comes on with the ignition.
Do you have a powered aerial like some of the other SEAT's? You could go for that. Or the boot light should have a permanent 12 volt on at least one side of the switch.

Thanks - I don't have a powered aerial, as a far as I can tell, however your suggestion of the boot light switch (tailgate in my case!) is good and I will try to locate it.
