I know you are all going to start calling me a dodgy nova/corsa idiot but I was wondering if anyone has tried to fit the front splitter off of the ibiza (97) to the underneath of the rear Ibiza bumper (mk2) for a lower look. I'm trying to be a bit different and if anyone knows if if fits on or not can you please inform me.
Cheers
Grant

i think it would b hard 2 fit coz the ibiza bumpers curve at the bottom unlike the saxo, nova etc which have a flat bottom.

i sell loads of these things but the funny thing is i've only ever sold about 2 for seats, the rest r always for nova's, saxo's and so on.

give it a try u never know u might start a new trend using the right parts on the right cars:) :)

was toying with that too,but was concerned about cutting it for exhaust clearance its not the deepest splitter in the world and have seen some right cock ups on other cars but with enough filling, sanding and blending it should look good ,and a bonus of being the only ibiza in the world with one on the back:cheers:

the nova's round this way out number the seat's 4 havin splitters fitted 2 um.

and the little b@stards have now taken 2 nickin um off me customers cars coz there 2 tight 2 buy there own:mad:

Ive got a 96 ibiza, the one with the sh**y black bumpers on the front and back, i will be replacing them later this year with the F2 stuff after i pay for the exhaust and alloys. The suspension has been lowered by 40 mm with 16" and 45 mm tyres. At the moment the clearence from the ground to the soft flexable plastic thing at the front bottom of the car is about 17 - 18cm, with the F2 bumper how low would it make the clearance, i need to know as the car is kept in a garage and there is a small steep slope over the pavement, when the car is half in the garage the plastic thing is about 4 cm off the ground.
So would i be talking chunks out of the F2 bumper when i get one? Thanks :(

The 45 in the tyre description isnt mm's; its a percentage of the width. so, if youre tyres are 195 wide theyll be 87.75mm high, if theyre 205 theyll be 92.25 high

i had a 96 16v lowered 40mm running 205/40/17's

i fitted the f2 bumper 2 it and cracked the damn thing going up the drive. (small slope up the driveway b4 garage)

with the standard gti bumpers on the plastic spoiler grounds out driving on and off.

now i've got a turbo'd beeza it grounds out all the time:(
and it aint even lowered yet:(

im guessin it must b the gti 1 it's deffinetly a 97 beeza.

so that narrows it down 2 the >1.4 ltr engine or the 1.6> ltr engine.

hope im not confussing things ??

basicly there's only 2 that fit the 97> beeza and i dont think ud b fittin the 1.4 1 would u ??

isnt there only two SEAT splitters anyway? the normal crappy 1.4 one and the GTi one? didnt know there was a difference between 1.4 and the 1.6

there's loads of front splitters !!

93 onwards gti had 2 piece splitter (same as inca van)

in 96 ibiza gti gained full plastic bumpers and a new 2 piece splitter.

in 97 when bumpers were changed anything 1.4 or below had 1 piece splitter.

anything 1.6 or above is fitted with the gti splitter (including tdi's)

they also listed a tdi splitter 4 cordoba tdi, which does fit ibiza, but this will only fit the 96 gti's with earlier wings.

im full of useful crap when it comes 2 splitters !!
