The central locking in my mums 98 1.4 beezer does not work when temperature is below ~3C. It buzzes (pump works), but nothing happens. As the temp gets warmer, it's ok again. How to fix this?

sounds daft but it appears you may water in the system somewhere
the pipe from the motor is basically a low volume air line to all the locks in the doors - best suggestion is to get to em and blow em out
