Greetings.
Am now a Seat owner, unfortunately I'll rarely be allowed to drive it  but will be expected to maintain it I'd imagine. Decided to replace an ancient Saab 9-3 with something more economical after a recent house move which results in wife's commute changing from 7 miles each way (5 days per week) to 55 miles each way (3 days per week).
There were a few things on the list of possible cars - Focus was top of the list as she really likes the heated front screen on my (company provided) Mondeo. I also tried to steer her towards the VAG family, primarily Golfs. Anyway, the long and short of it saw us weighing in on a Leon 2.0 TDi 16V Reference Sport on a 57 plate. I drove it back last night and am impressed. As anticipated it is a bit firmer (in ride) and more noisy than the Saab but overall a much more enjoyable drive.
Hopefully my wife will also cope with the more 'direct' involvement provided by the Seat. :)
I'm sure to be dipping in and out of here over time as I get better acquainted with our new car. Already impressed with the range of good information that seems available here.
Cheers.
