Bloody 'el, its certainly hats off at my house to Stuart at SC Performance.

Bumper arrived today, god it looks good. Nearly spurted my load when I unwrapped it.....:)

Cant wait to get it sprayed and fitted, thats where you come in Scotty...

Any advice on getting it fitted, Iam getting a bodyshop to do ity but, wanted to check with your 1st regarding placing holes etc ?

How many screws/bolts etc do you have holding it on, last thing I would want is it falling off.

The Beast Conversion is coming soon..............................

Ovv, get some pics done showing how the bumper was fitted where the mounting points have been put etc. Get it into the SDC mag.

glad you like it chris, I was well impressed when I saw it - its way better than the original!
Its very easy to fit to te cordy (should be similar for the 'biza) Its basically screwed in at the sides to the arches through the three or four arch liner mounting points and then secured at the front by drillling two holes through up through the lip under the number plate mounting point. You should have two flat brackets behind this where the original came off, make sure you've lined the holes up with these, stick two long bolts up through (these are hidden by the number plate overhang) and bobs your granny! It may not sound secure but its less moveable than the original!

Cheers Scotty,Iam sure the bodyshop will be able to sort out the drilling of the holes for me.

Only complaint is that there was no mesh included, have emailed Stuart as it was supposed to be included.

Have made a copy of the details above, just i case though.

Cheers

Chris

that's strange, he definetly ordered some mesh - i'll give him a bell and see what's happened to it.

Scotty,
I emailed him last night, the mesh was part of my order - as long as it arrives with me before I put it into the bosyshop Iam not really bothered, Iam sure he didnt do it on purpose. Would appreciate you giving him a call though.

Said I would do a deal with him, put his stickers on my car if he sent the mesh soon, lol.

Decent chap, true to his word.

Can you give me any info on how you wired up the fog lights.

My original light,( ones missing ) are still in, is it a matter of disconnetting the bulbs when the bumper is off and wiring it to the new lamps ?

Cheers

Chris

yep, its fairly simple (says the person who got someone else to do it!) solder or use connectors to run two fly leads from the bulbs/bulb earthing point on the new spots. Disconect the old foglight and find out which of the two cables is live (lick your fingers and hold them - just kidding!!) and use a connector block to join the wires up. s'easy when you know how!

I've spoken to Stu, Chris - apparently the box the bumper was sent in got damaged or wasn't up to ANC's standard at manchester, when it was reboxed the mesh must have been left out. He'll get another piece off to you ASAP.

I'm seeing him tonight so i'll make sure he's sent the mesh off, I think he wanted to speak to you about the parcel - as I think a couple he sent have been opened on route and stuff removed.

Cool Scotty,

Get him to give me a buzz, my mobile number is 07801 233330
or he can get ahold of me at work - 01224 656777

Everything seemed fine when I got the bumper, did you have wiring with your lights ? There was only the fitting brackets, lights and light bulbs in mine... I take thats normal though as the wiring is already there.

yep, they sting you 15 quid extra for the wiring kit. But as you say on ours the wiring is already there, just needs splicing in.
