A big smiley hello to all,
just bought a white Mk 2 Leon Cupra with stage 2+ mods (yes it is a K1 but don't hate me for it [B)]) which is making me grin constantly and inanely. I've always loved the engine gearbox combo which I've previously owned in both Audi S3 and TTS guise in 2009/10. However the stage 2+ mods make this one a real fire-cracker. I believe the car may be known to some of you as it belonged to Paul (Nobber) who documented his upgrades in a thread on here somewhere.
As for me, I have a bit of a chequered past when it comes to car ownership, having been through some 50-60 in my time and indeed my username is derived from my favorite of the lot, a Noble M12 GTO 3R which is simply the best drivers' car on the planet. I miss it dearly still but onwards and upwards (or is it sideways?).
Looking forward to some SeatCupra banter over the coming months but for now, today in fact, I'm off to the local Pirelli Performance Centre to get a 4 wheel align done on their Hunter rig as it's a bit of a tradition with me and always the first thing I do to any car I buy.
Cheers,
Al
