Hi All

Had the Exeo St 170 for a couple of weeks now and loving it! I have noticed a couple of things with the car that feel a bit strange, but not sure if these are just characteristics of the car or if there is somehting that needs attention. I asked my local dealer about these and they said that they couldnt find any fault.

When first moving off from cold the clutch feels as if it slips a touch. Once warmed up I dont feel anything untoward.
When moving at low speeds the powered steering seems quite jerky/notchy.

I was wondering if any othe Exeo owners have experienced the same?

Cheers

I got quizzed by a Highways Patrol Officer at Charnock Richard about the low speed handling of my Exeo, he was having very low speed judder in he steering to with his 143. Not had it with my Exeo ST 170

At low speed, on full lock I get a juddering - I will report this at the next service.

The garage did say that juddering can be felt from the steering when the tyres get below a certain tread depth and if the tyres are not blown up to the correct pressures.

I did a google search and it seems to be a known problem on the Audi forums.

I will be keeping a close eye on it.

I thought my 143 SE Lux steering was a bit loose when I drove to the end of my road.
Problem is the road surface is all rutted where you slow down at the T junction.

I thought the same but I have since found out that these wide tyres are prone to "tramlining" i.e. they tend to follow ruts in the road;)
