Guys
Anyone made a succesful warranty claim for cracked leather seats on their Leon yet? If anyone's been succesful, i'll start making enquiries about my Ibiza before my warranty period runs out...
Cheers guys!

I second that! My drivers seat is looking a little "worse for wear" after just 7,000 miles!

Mine Ibiza 20VT has done about 7000 and the drivers seat is FAR from perfect, and that is with me VERY regularly treating with leather preparation! It's a real shame, especially when you pay extra for it. if i did manage to make a claim for my Ibiza i'd go back to ordinary half leather and cloth after all the hassle...
Flapper - be interested to hear the outcome, thanks for your help chap.

I got new drivers seat cover on my Ibiza 20VT when the leather showed signs of wear after about 3 months from new. Arnold Clark in Edinburgh have replaced it no problem under warranty. Not too sure how long this one will last though, leather quality seems crap on Ibiza half leather seats.

Yep, mines got bad crease's, not quite cracks, yet. Should I complain as I thought this was a normal wear 'n' tear thing???

I'm looking to complain...it really is a pretty poor show. i know it is crap leather, in reality they should have jsut put cloth in such a low-priced car.
its not just wear and tear, GOOD quality leather will not deteriorate as quickly as this stuff is...
