Hi im new to the site, im being given a mk3 seat ibiza 1.4 cool/s. Oh it's a 5 door:(
Basically looking to do it up, my plans for the exterior are, cupra front bumper, fog lights, alloys, tint windows, colouring the door handles, side skirts and side door strip and the wing mirrors. this will be easy to do.
Im looking to modify the inside, as it seems a bit boring, i have a 12inch JL audio sub in the boot which is hooked up to the seat's standard head unit, and its good qaulity.
I generaly need any links or if possible any pic's of what others have done to there ibiza, so if you know any good places to get stuff, then get in touch,
thanks
krishan
hmmm i would be tempted to say to not mod it, sell it on and put the money towards something a bit better already, so a 3 door 1.6 sport or even a tdi ;)

I'm guessing here that insurance of a sporty model would be an issue hence the 1.4?
Don't bother with the Cupra bumper or side skirts as they will be classed as a modification on your insurance unless you can find some second hand which is difficult, and they are surprisingly expensive to buy/paint/fit.
Easiest thing you can change is the wheels; a second hand set of alloys can be picked up quite cheaply (any thing that fits a VW mk2 Golf will fit on nicely if you don't want SEAT specific wheels) and will make no end of difference to the look of your car if you go 16" or 17" (15" can look a bit small in the arches but with spacers can look okay).
Next you can buy the honeycomb grille from SEAT that's not too expensive but the outer grilles are quite hard to fit. Looks a million times better than the slatted one.
Inside you can buy a 'custom' fit leather steering wheel cover from www.isotta.com which is about £50 and makes the interior much more classy.
After that some Audi TT pedal covers and a few shiny bits and bobs and it'll be a different car......

hi ive already got the side skirts on, there standard black. People saying get rid of it!!!! dnt really wna
can u get a pic of the sideskirts?
i've got an aluminium effect interior. i had a choice of carbon fibre and chrome aswell. it cost £90 including P+P, rather expensive, but i've got a 5year guarentee. it does look very nice, and makes my dash look different to most others
Cus, u got a pic of your interior?
yeah, i got several, but i dont have webspace to upload them to :( if u want to see my interior... just email me at cusford@hotmail.com

has any one got a chrome grill on the front of the ibiza, if so any chance i cud see a pic?
Get rid of the stock head-unit. its awfuL!
new HU where stock presets are (http://www.sounddomain.com/memberpage/394033/11)
^thats what i did.
next up was door builds - still need tidied up and finished properly.
and then a parcel shelf for some 6x9's, just some compressed board i had lying about n some cloth.
I'm not too worried about external mods that much as its my first car.
Wouldnt mind some cheap and easy performace ones that i can get away with not declaring.
