I keep reading that the 130 engine usually gives about 146 bhp when tested on a rolling road.

Has anyone put a 150 cupra or similar Golf on a test for actual ouput?

Normal values are around 164Hp, but as of late (namely 2 MY04 Leon FR's) I've seen 170-172Hp. I suspect they have tweeked the code a bit, plus the turbo is slightly different.

An MY03 Golf GTI Anniversary I know of from CGTI put out 174bhp I think as standard, which is an amazing figure! :D

It definatly seems that the Golf TDis tend to produce a tad more power, the maps for the Golf and other VW brands must be different. I cant say i have ever seen a golf produce 130 for the 130engine they all seem to be >140 same as the 150. Problem is it means that you will not gain as much form your remap. As 195-200 seems to be the average figs for theres engins so if you start withone kicking out 175 then there aint much difference.

Lucky git? He traded it in last week for an R32. He's certainly a lucky git now! His first line in CGTI forum was "who cares about MPG!"

I agree, the code is probably a bit different. I've also noticed that the IC on the 150 is slightly different on the 150 golf compared to those found on the Leon/Toledo.
