Think i've settled on a pipercross, has anyone got this on there 1.8 20vt? Should i be looking at something else??
Thanks in advance ;)
hey, i dont have the 20vt, only the 1.4  .. but i do have the pipercross induction kit though. adds a slight whooshing sound, which is great, and its also very easy to install.

I've got a 20vT and i'm using the Pipercross. First time round i oiled the filter too much which resulted in MAF failure. Got a new MAF now, and completely de-oiled the filter and everything is fine. Lets out quite a defined whoosh on throttle lift. ;)

Yeah, my bro's fitted one to his Impreza and it sounds great.
I'm just concerned cause so many people in here are reporting problems like MAF failure which i guess is a few quid to put right?
I think my car has also been chipped by it's origonal owner, do ya know if this makes any difference?

Welcome to the forum. Most people with a Ibiza Cupra 1.8T on the forum tend to run Green Filters Dynatwist induction kit. Seems to have the best results and power gains etc and as Deejay says its huge!

LO
better late than never :p
Dynatwist on chipped Ibiza/Leon has given 7bhp and 13lbft torque over stock airbox. More DV sound but not excessive. Nice combo with Forge DV007P.
Replaces airbox completely.
Priced @ £170inc vat here plus £8 P&P
Pictures of install here>> http://badger-5.com/bin/dynatwist/install-dynatwist-2.jpg

Bill,
Is there any benefit from going from an old Hurricane kit to the (bigger) Dynatwist? Just now my cars chipped I'm wondering if its worth it.
Or I could wait for the Green CAI when its developed;)

I think the Dynatwist is the better unit for chipped motors, with more flow capacity.
CAI's form Green.... not there's a frustrating thing..

sounds good to me so much are they bill for a LCR ?
Also the black cold air feed pipe i gather is that easy to install? just on my old astra gsi u had to run that pipe through the inner arch and it was a pain in the ass

Carbonia does not fit the Ibiza.
