picture tells a lie m8 i'm afraid bud

looks like an 8 yr old with poster paint did it - prolly looked good @ start but heat has faded and peeled it - and it does clash a little with all the blue goo sticking on everything

as for being well - looks like rings gone altogether (suspected) and blown pressure/oil into the top end - in for a strip/rebuild anyway and at 50k this will be its 3rd time apart and its 2nd cyl head and 4th cambelt so you can guess how hard a life its had in the past

before i get  its just arrived and i'm on a mission to save it

even on the outside pic theres a good 3 days work cleaning to get it that far - left in a field for 12 months with no LH window in it so well - you can imagine

as they say where there's muck there's brass (or is it bronze :p )- watch this space :D

first off hearts coming out in the am - off to old man's for a rebuild

g/box now coming home for a refit (thank Saul 4 that:p)

body later thanx to maddass cit AX owner next door (sprayshop)

susp/brakes to be changed/modded as time available

current engine is running 275 pipers on a TSR head that initially will be stripped and dipped and crack/flowed tested to make sure it's useable

looking at Shrick cams - and POSSIBLY twin 40's

Supercharger been dumped in favour of A/C - MRS has the last say there :(

but one day ;) when i design a quick fit kit

will be typing one fingered today

my arms are killing me

woke up @ 12.30 EEEK rushed down to see my baby ;) and just got home

whilst out i have managed to strip out the engine and box on me own - thanx to Bro being on holiday (nicked his workshop)

all came out no dramas - well almost ;)

only way to get the downpipe off is to drop the susp cradle after i snapped EVERY manifold bolt (well i did get up late and i aint got all day) what absolutely flummoxed me was how corroded every bolt is - lower susp bolts both snapped - and even with bolt out took me 1/2 hour to get the lower ball joint out - i even snapped a axle shaft we use as a pry bar :o got him in the end but the whole ball joint's normally shiny face was corroded thank god for brute force and ingnorance

i'll get some pics tuesday J4se as bro is back - i gotta now call me old man and tell him not to trip over the big green lump when he gets to work in the am :p

ooooh my back aches
