I've just got hold of a Pipercross induction kit for my 8v ibiza. How much of the dirt retention oil stuff should I use? The 'comprehensive' fitting instructions just say it must be oiled before use. Do I soak it, or just lightly spray it?

I'm not 100% sure that I've got the right kit so don't know if it will fit anyway. The bits in the box don't seem to match the pictures on the instructions. I won't know 'til I try though...

Cheers.

dont soak it , u'll drown it !!

being serious, make sure u use minimal amount of oil on it.

i have 1 fitted 2 my 1.8 20vt ibiza and have only used a small amount (short spray on 1 side the 180 degrees and short spray on the other)

i dont think the instructions tell u how much 2 use, but if in doubt contact piperx they should b able 2 tell u.

You're better off lightly spraying every few K if that, than drenching it once.
