Are the Polo Mk4 side repeaters the same as the Mk2 Ibiza Cupra 16v repeaters? I'm about to order some smoked Polo 4 ones from Awesome GTI and just wanted to check they'll fit...they look identical, at least

Thanks

Yep, they are the same. HOWEVER, the last time I checked, you could get them from VW for less!

Also try SEAT. My 16v had clear repeaters on and I think they were standard.

Too many people just run out for aftermarket stuff first. When I had my Saxo VTS, it had orange repeaters and I priced clear ones from tuning shops. They were around 20 quid. I went to Citroen and got them from a later model for 5 quid!!

Cheers for the help and suggesting I go to SEAT, but I want the smoked repeaters anyway, not the clear ones...

why not use the ones of the latest Leon R ?

( pt no 1J0 949 117 *2 ) clear see through lenses using a clear bulb

has orange reflector built inside

worse case scenario is you may (depends on car) need the bulb holder too ( pt no 6N2 971 273A *2 )

even from a main stealer only £8 odd for lamp each and £8 odd for the holder

and they look like this

i got the mirrored ones from a mk4 golf and had to get the bulb holder as well but it was well worth it.
