Aura radio cassette problem

Just installed a CD changer (courtesy of Dangel) in the wife's TDI S recently and have been gettinmg a few problems.


Whan driving along the display flashes up phone every now and again and mutes the stereo


It doesn't have a phone kit.


I think it might be a loose connection somewhere but I don't have the tools to pull the head unit out -

where can you get the removal tools from and anyone got any other ideas as to what may be wrong

basically 2 flat keys go in the slots at the bottom

i got a set ere - but i'm miles away :(


MAY? just get away with using some pioneer keys but will need flattening

ill scan mine later if you want a pattern to make some ? but use the search - sure i have drawn em before

two teaspoons with abit of cloth around the spoon ends for insulation work a treat..

or a chopped up credit card i seem to remember reading on here

I found the credit card where to bendy. So i use jigsaw blades works a treat. Remember to put tape round the sarated edges!

got some tools from Halfords and did some HU swapping between wifes car and mine
