Hi

After putting 17's on, the back of my car looks awesome , but the front looks completley cr@p. Does anyone know if it is possible to just lower the front of the car?

Or should I rather get coilovers and set the front much lower than the rear?

Or are there any other ways of sorting the problem?

Cheers

why?

assuming you want to leave the rear @ std height?

it'll a) handle bad due to incorrect spring ratings (understeer)
b) handle badly due to all the weight being at the front (more understeer)
c) the rear springs will be soft & have loads of travel (oversteer)

sounds like you want to crash?

Don'y want to crash just want to make the car look better as the front looks shit.

Looks like I'll have to go with lowering the whole car.

Do you know if kits that will fit the mk2/Mk3 golf will fit? or do you kneed a specific ibizia kit?

I'm new to Seat's but have allways had Golfs. So excuse me If I ask stupid questions.

cheers

ibiza specific is the way to go

www.seatcupra.net/~mark/lowcordie.jpg - that's about -60mm at the front

you can't easily get any lower than that - nor would you want to as that's low enough to hit plenty

You want to lower the car levelly - else it does handle adversely

you can get front coilovers from GAZ at about £250 if you just want fronts, or the full kit which I have just ordered from Rally design for £461, you could then leave the back as you like and drop the front :D
