thats really nice! mine had crappy 14 inch wheels, got the same bits front and back, and the fogs. but it doesn't have the rear wing, mines about half the size. also i dont have the side skirts, and i have the black bits down the side of the car.

cheers mate

at least you got the chill with the climate control, imagine if you got wheel trims ,no fogs and no air con (time to cut your wrists)

i used to have a mk4 S reg polo with the 1.4 60hp engine that you got

its a shame that i never knew SEAT did a 1.6 sport version, but because i was only 17 when i bought my car, i couldnt really afford the insurance, its £2000 at the moment! was quoted £6000 by norwich union direct!!
allthe info about the NOS is below

http://affilate.potn.com/product_in...ucts_id/1605000

thats the website i ordered it from. £649.. its expensive but your getting the best stuff. they say to use only 25hp jets on a 1.4, but i've been told by a specialist that i can use 50hp jets as my engine has done 20,000 miles, and some other stuff but i've forgotten.

this is wet NOS aswell, which means it uses a second line of petrol going into the engine , but this is only active when the NOS is. makes it better and adds more horsepower.

for fitting, i was quoted £300, this includes all other parts, like new spark plugs, cos standard ones will melt the pistons or something. i'm lucky because a mate of a mate (you know how it is) is an expert, and charged my £200 for fitting, asked me if i wanted to help him etc, so i could know the basics. hes also gonna fit my subs and amp hopefully.
£300 is the usual price your looking to pay, so nearly £1000 for it all rather expensive, but its amazing! the NOSusually only works in 5th gear with wide throttle, but the guy who fitted it to mine knows some trade tricks and has got it working in 4th gear aswell. it does make my car loads faster , but never redline it, because it'll funk your car up! hope this helps

the sport model in the Mk 3 is quite rare, even rarer in TDI Sport form, they only introduced them in the end of the run of the Mk3 so your not likely to find many about. Revel in the fact that you have a rare can and dont drive a cupra where there are 1000's around ;)

I know the mk3 tdi sport was only introduced for the UK market for the last 6 months of the MK3's run so hence why there are so few around.

the 1.6 sport was what i intended to buy when i got my car but i test drove the cupra as well and went for that - looks good though - the only difference betweeb the 1.6 sport and cupra externally is the colour coded skirts and slightly different alloys

I know its a bit late to reply to this thread but I have a red 1.6 sport my second one in a month.

Bought my first one by chance saw it at a garage ex lease car on 2000 X reg 60000 miles £4K wot a bargain didnt realise how much of a bargain till a week later when it got nicked and I tried looking for another closest match was 6K and was at the other end of the country.
I Drove 200 miles to look at one got there it had boy racer bits on it and it wouldnt start spent 5 minutes decided wasnt worth looking at and went home. In the end had to drive 100 mile to buy one. But I dont regret it got it from Rusty's SEAT dealer in Scunthorpe excellent dealership would really recommend it. Rang them up to explain what had happened to mine he instantly knocked £500 off the price arranged the finance over the phone. Then when we turned up threw a touch up pen and mats into the deal with no hassle or bullsh!t. No other cars come close to the beezer sport for the money and insurance group though. Only one downside was that the stopped doing the extra clocks in the console on the later models

I've got a 1.6 sport as well, W reg, Black :)

I originally had the Mk2 Ibiza 1.6 and wanted to keep the same cc in my new car.

Just a pity the new Ibizas don't have a 1.6 model :(

Just a pity the mk4 Ibiza doesn't have ANY decent petrol engines :(
In fact, the only decent engine the mk4 has is the tdi 130 (until the 20vt FR comes out).

On the subject of the mk3 sport; there's quite a few of them around here and there's also almost no cupra's, which is nice ;)

i really like the 1.6 sport, not keen on red though, i prefer darker colours, like dark blue and black.
