just wondering if the members running chipped/ tuning boxxed tdi's change their oil at more regular intervals, or even use a fully synthetic oil etc??

My Fabia will go in for service every 10k
I do a half way service in between, you dont have to but as ive got the stuff to do it I might aswell, no labour to pay.
I just stick to the normal sevice intervals (every 10K miles). Supply my own oil, though (Quatum Turbo Diesel). Change the air & fuel filter myself every 20K.

Since the 10k service, I change mine each 5k between the dealer services (which reminds me, at 25k now, must get some oil!)
It's not a full oil & filter change, but I just suck the old oil out with my siphon oil change thing (v. easy) and refill with new.
My thinking being that it can only help, and I intend to keep the car for some time & mileage.
When I come to sell it at high mileage, things like this will count in it's favour....
Have used pukka oil from a VW dealer so far, but I think there might be a stockist of Millers PD oil locally so might give that a try, will be far cheaper than VW who only sell in 1 litre bottles.
I lowered intervals from every 15000km to every 10000km.
