Just over a month ago I purchased a RF sub and amp, both of which developed faults. The sub packed in just 1 day after installing it, the sub was replaced by the shop as it was within 30 days of purchase.
The amp on the other hand was fine up until monday when it decided it would prefer to act as an electric heater rather than an amplifier.
I took the amp back to the shop (only 4 days after the 30 days expired) and they have taken it in and told me i've goto wait for RF to contact them.
The amp was sent off to Rockford and has been with them for about 2 weeks and I've heard nothing.
Starting to get a little pissed off now.
Firstly the box that came with the kit came with holes that were "pre drilled" by a monkey at the shop. The holes were drilled far to large for the purpose and I had to re fill the holes and insert smaller screws.
Secondly the sub packs in, gets replaced with very little fuss.
Thirdly, amp packs in!
Any ideas of what I can do? I really want my money back so I can buy some better gear from a reputable retailer.
Where do I stand?
Btw, is this relivant? http://www.adviceguide.org.uk/nacab/owa/doc_split.display?p_nacab_id=13.3.6.30.&p_domain_id=1004&p_text_only=N&p_section_name=replacements
