View Full Version : Not a good weekend
I had a trip to Bristol this weekend and returned with,
1- broken rear windscreen
2- damage to the boot where they tried to leaver out the window
3- £500 of Rockford Fosgate subs missing.
And they can't get the rear glass till Tuesday!!!
This is not a good weekend.

at least they didn't nick your splitter tho (that's a Bristol scum fav)
I think they got interrupted as they didn't go for the brand new £400 Alpine head unit, it didn't have the face on but I don't think they care about things like that. I'm still amazed they managed to get a 2.5 cubic feet box through the rear window without opening the boot.

Cheers, its gets worse, I cant claim as it will rob me of 2 years no claims and the one that is about to finish, so I will go from 4 to 1 years no claims and at 22 wont be able to insure the car, the quote, its only £150 excess but the insurance renewal with 1 years no claims will be so high I might as well fix it myself and keep 4 years no claims.

Mate that is cr@p, tell me about sodding car insurance - I am 21 and driving a 1.9 TDI MK2 Beeza - costs me £900 to insure last year with 2 years no claims!

Mine was £800 on A Mk2 GTI 16v at 21 with 3 years no claims, goes up to about 1200-1300 if I make this claim, and what do I get for £800, a bit of paper so I can get a tax disk, thats about the only function it serves, unless I hit someone else.
iv put tilt sensors inside mr sub and on the amp if they try that then boom alram goes off (machine guns engage)
Sorry to hear that dude, there must have been more than one to lift out that box espesh thru the window!
Where were you parked?
Were you playing your tunes loud around the area you were parked up?

Gutted for you mate!!!!!! i hate them and ive never even met them!!!! TW@TS!!!!
I was parked only 5ft from the house, I was up there visiting a friend, didn't play the it loud at all as the back was full with people so I wasn't advertising that I had subs, The RAC have just put the wrong window in, the spoiler holes don't line up, I did warn them before they did it that there were loads of screens for this car, did hey listen NO, so waiting till Wednesday will they get one ordered direct from Seat, just have to pay the £50 excess and leave it at that as I cant afford to kit the car out with subs again.
On a more positive note, it sailed through the MOT yesterday, not one comment on the advisory sheet, I have never had that with a car before, oh and the suspension kit arrived, the wrong spring plates but apart from that im well pleased.

im 21... no no claims, 6 speeding points, and I'm paying £950 on a T reg Ibiza GTI 16v.
Not bad IMO :bleh:
