ok, technically not a SEAT related question, but i thought there might be someone who could help out.

my girlfriend has a jvc changer (don't remember the model) that has developed a problem with ejecting.

it sounds like the cartridge is removing the disc from the player but failing to eject from the whole unit.

she took it to halfords (where she bought it) and they said they'd have to send it away to get it looked at, and that it would cost around £100 - which is over half the original cost.

any ideas on what the problem might be or anywhere else that might be worth taking it for a look.

ok i work in Halfords and if is under 12 months old they will send it away for free....as it is covered by Halfords 12 months guarantee, unless it has been damaged due to wear and tear or dropped etc

unfortunately it's slightly over a year old.
don't want to spend £100 just to get it looked at.

Thats the minimum fee :( they charge Halfords that amount just to have it looked at...so obviously Halfords charge you that.

try and reset it....hold the eject button for 5 secs i think it is
