Noticed the other day that my drivers side headlight was out so presumed it was a bulb. Went and ordered some of the SEAT Xenon look 50% + bulbs (had been meaning to for a while anyway) and have just fitted them.

The problem is that the light is still out, so i checked the fuses (i think i checked the right ones) and they are not blown

TBH i'm not sure i've found the right fuses as when i took them out, the passenger side light stayed on   According to the little card in the fuse box, the headlight fuses are Numbers 21 & 22. Can anyone confirm this for me? Also if i've checked the right ones, why did the passenger side one stay on when i removed the fuse? Also, any suggestions as to what the problem could be???

I dunno mate, but one of my seats 50%+ bulbs blew today :/
3 months since I had them fitted...so am not impressed, although I do drive with lights on most of them time...
went to dealer - they didnt have any in stock, so I'd to go to hellfords and get the closest equiv they had and replace both front bulbs.

theres more than one fuse for the lamps

usually side lights (1) main beam (2) high beam (2)

add the rears/fogs etc thats a lot of fuses

look for a lamp with lines pointing down

not got a manual to hand other wise i'd point it out

WTF is going on - my passenger side headlamp blew yesterday too!? (quite impressed how well the one remaining lamp lights up the road though)

I will wait too see one in the flesh before i coment on the looks. Sometimes things that look bad in pics often look OK in real life and also vice versa.

Strange, my headlight has come back on. Presume that its a loose wire somewhere then, i'll have to get the dealer to have a look

One of my HIDs has started flickering a bit recently, even went off for a split second the other morning ... eek !

:/
whats worse (for me) is the replacement bulbs I got, are cr*p....the amount of night driving I do, I almost wish I'd imported the car, and got HIDs, like muddyboots did..
If only there was a legal aftermarket HID conversion..
*sigh*

Well if you had lots of cash to spare, you could buy the pukka HID units, levelling kit, headlamp washer / bumper assembly, bigger washer bottle, etc etc but I should think it would be a tad expensive....
