View Full Version : Rear windscreen washer leaks over clutch pedal :-(
I have recently discovered that when I use the rear windsceen washer on my 10 reg 1.4 ibiza sport, I get two wet feet as water streams down from somewhere under the steering column, I can feel it with my hand , but I have no idea where it is coming from.
Has anyone else experienced it? Any ideas what the problem is?
I shall ring up the dealer tomorrow and get them to sort it out under warranty.

well the only thing that i could guess that it is would be that one of the pipes that carries the fluid is split somewhere
I think this as im sure that the washer bottle is quite deep down and on the passenger side of the car

I have the same problem. The cause might be that there haven't been used proper antifreeze washing liquid when the temperature goes below 0.
Seat Center in my town offered a service for 130€/hour to fix the problem. They would have take the whole dashboard off because the lines go behind it. Other repair shop estimated fixing costs for 500€!!!
Any ideas for repairing?

Just dewiper the car, bung the end of the pipe and remove the fuze for the back wiper :D easy :P
