just bought myself a nokia Ck-1w car kit... (bluetooth job.. no cradle.. £88 from mobilefun.co.uk - fairly cheap???)

just reading thru the install manual prior to :

a) getting the car
b) ripping it to bits..

all seems fairly straight forward, except a question to do with CRM (car radio muting).. it implies a yellow wire (part of the "power" lead) goes between the unit and the stereo..

so.. is there a termination point on the back of the aura unit to attach this wire to, which enables CRM...?

anyone got any pics/diagram of the back of an aura unit?

cheers

Don't take this the wrong way, but try a search (it's not working at the moment otherwise I would post a link).

Result is that you can mute the radio but you can't feed the sound through the radio with a Nokia car kit (unless the bluetooth one has extra functions specifically to do this) and the later model Aura HU. Autoleads do a lead (about £40) to do both. www.ICECAVERN.co.uk (ICE_MAN Pete's website) has the pinouts on it somewhere.

I've got the Nokia Bluetooth Kit Cark112 - Not had any problems whatsoever.

my colleagues nokia kit is a little shocking... but the main reason for getting one would be to charge the phone in the car... which I currently can't do...
