I am posting this thread on behalf of mate. He has had his 20vt Ibiza for 3 days and it has developed a problem.

When holding the car in gear higher up the revs (say 80mph in 3rd for example) it looses all boost and stays in limp mode until you switch the ignition off.

SEAT have replaced the maf sensor, taken the boost gauge out and replaced the Bailey DV30 with a standard jobbie but without joy.

Anyone got any suggestions or had the same problem.

n75 boost control valve is the fault it is detecting too much boost(INTERNAL FUALT) AND TELLING THE ECU TO GO INTO LIMP MODE GET A NEW ONE FIT IT AND WILL BE ALL O.K.

I will tell him tonight and see if SEAT will replace it under warrenty. They have had the car longer than him!

Thank you for the advice, will let you know how he gets on.

Mark.
