Hi Everyone,
My R is booked in for its first service next week... any idea how much it should cost me (don't want them to sting me!).
I'm taking it back to a main dealer. 12 months, 7500 miles.

Mine was about £160, but I have heard horror stories of about £90... bastids :censored:
170 quid mate, had mine done thursday just gone. They tried to sting me for 450 pounds worth of discs and pads!!!! Just coz it had stood for a while and the discs got some rain on them turning them slightly rusty. Just surface rust which came off on the way back from the garage. :thumbd:

Thats probably because you do more than 10000 miles per annum.

£59.15 for 10000 miles / 6 months...
Service items pretty much limited to oil & filter change only, as the annual inspections aren't required (so no eyes cast over the bodywork...). Annual inspection for me will be due at 12 months (Sept 1st), or 20000 miles, whichever is sooner... could be an expensive service!!

Just to add to this if the car at 12 months had done 20k then you would have had the cost above + the annual inspection sevice. ie circa £175 in the first year.

Mine was free, got them to throw it into the deal aloing with the dog guard, boot liner and tank of petrol :)

Got my car back from its 1st service today.
£162 including a 1 ltr top up of helix for when I need it. Not sure what they do but the oil was changed but no new air filter.

I have just paid £115 for 10,000 mile / 12month service for my Cupra R which I thought was pretty good, as the Sales Rep picked up and dropped back my car - 15 miles from Seat garage.

:-o You let dogs get in your LCR!!!! :blink: I love my dog, my lovely WHITE haired dog! He ain't never been in my BLACK upholstered LCR though :p There's enough of his hairs over the seats simply from them coming off my clothes... :(

I paid £123 for a 12 month / 10,000 miles service two weeks ago at Ted Johnsons in Barnsley.

she's the reason I bought the car, so that I can out her in the boot and she leaves me alone :happy: otherwise I prob would have got an Evo/Skyline etc

How many miles do you do a year? This sounds like lube only to me and not the 12 month annual.

20 to 25k p/a
I realise there are annual services and the fixed mileage 10,20,30k etc.
As stated mine was for 10k not annual, although annual service sounds like a ruse to charge more money.
