Ever since I bought my car I have been having problems with the remote c/l key. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. So I replaced the batteries and still the same problem. Sometimes it works, and tends to work when I take the cover apart. Can anyone suggest what could be wrong and if I could take it anwhere without charging and arm and leg.
sounds like the contacts need a little (persuasion) to make them a little tighter
either that or the remote is on its way out
as it's a mk2 if the remote does give up
they are approximately £40 and can be programmed yourself in around ooooh 30sec
