Heater/Aircon lights

A little gemlin that has been plaguing me latley.....

sometimes when i start my car at night, the lights for the heater/aircon console dont work... that is, the red backlights for all the switchgear.

Sometimes, after about 20 minutes, they mysteriously come to life, other times they work first time and other times they never work.

Any ideas?

it could be that the pins that hold in the bulb have seperated slightly and so are not making the proper connection with the bulb and that is why it is only working intermittantly

If you get a haynes manual there is a step by step guid to doin it in there. Its not too hard to get to. Just a few screws :)
