Does anyone know how to remove the speedometer surrounds on MK5 Ibiza because want to
respray them gloss black was wondering if it was literally brutual force or if theres some clips

I was wondering the same thing. Let me know how it goes
Someone on this forum has removed his to paint them black (can't remember who) - he was going to mask the dash to paint the top visor part though as this can't be removed

The surrounds are clipped on so a bit of brittle force will tug it free.
The peak bit can't be removed without knackering it

I removed the surrounds and painted them. It is easy, you must grab the surround with both hands and pull them hard to yourself and the surround will come out.

Has anybody changed the bulbs for the dashboard as well?
