First things first hello to eveyone, hope this forum can answer some of the future questions im going to ask. (Just bought a 97 Ibiza Cupra Sport 8v, 36,000miles / £2600). Think i got a good deal.

Right, now that's out the way, can anyone advise me what brake upgrades are available? ,as mine are in need of changing soon.
I had Pagid Pads and Zimmerman X-Drilled on my last car, (MkII Golf G60). These were pretty good but are sadly not available for the Ibiza.

I was going to inquire about a set of Black Diamond 12 Gooved with Fast Road pads but thought i'd ask what you guys recomend before i commit to anything.

Also have any of you fitted Goodridge braided hoses?

Cheers

Who's been telling you that? All available through usual places, such as German Swedish & French, etc. With so many SEAT parts, it's just a question of figuring out which VW or Audi the parts were also used on. Discs in this instance should be 256x20mm vented (as per 90 spec mk2 Golf 16v) with pads to suit - chose from all the usual suppliers.

All of which reminds me, need to get my Scirocco out of the garage so I can get the Ibiza in and fit the set of Zimmerman X-drilled discs and EBC GreenStuff pads (offered dirt cheap so figured i'd give them a try) i've got waiting to go on...

you could also upgrade to 280x22mm discs and calipers,as used on the cuprasport 16v,cordoba sx16v,and all the ibiza cupra 20vt's.
speak to stuart tunstall on here from euro car parts,he recently got me a set of hoses cheaper than anywere else i had tried, while yer there you could get some ATE power discs, cheap as chips and do the same job as any grooved disc i've tried.
