Hi there was wondering if you could advise my what is needed to rebuild my AMK engine, i will be using standard pistons but wanting uprated conrods as i may go BT in the future if you could give me a list of what is needed would be great. thanks

Like i said in a previous Post mate..
INA Uprated Rods
Rod Bearings (tanged)
Cylinder Head Rebuild Kit ( Inc Headgasket)
Water Pump
Gates Timing belt kit
Cylinder Head Coolant o-ring
OEM Headbolts
3 x Oil filters
1x fuel filter
Maphle OE Piston rings
Engine assemlby Lube
Spark Plugs
OE Grade Sump sealant..
Sammy can supply it all like he has done to Danny Ect...

The rods are not INA Rods though, we just distribute them for a near by company (DM Forged).

may seem a stupid question but why do i need 3 oil filters

3X filters is a general rule....you need to change the filter every 500miles with mineral oil which is 2x for the 1000miles run in prosdure the you have one for the full sympthetic once its run...its all about collecting part before you start....
Are you taking the crank out by any change?

My friend from audi is doing the rebuild as its a bit out of my league, not too sure if he is will have to ask him:confused:

You have to change the oil 500miles in anyway and you do that twice hence the 1000miles run....plus ul need another filter when you change to quality symphetic...
Hence you need 3x there cheap and make sure its oe filter as some.oil filters are small bore inside..eg the cheap nasty ones...
If everything is oe or uprated you are fine...none of the oe stuff can seariously **** things up....
Off course you need to see how much power and what is your goal......id defo change to ferrea exhaust 1 peice valves....the. You have a bullet proof engine..
ask Sam about the valves as I'm running them and there epic quality...
