Just got back from the rolling road. Could not get the racing car to stay in the rollers so put the leon on there for a bit of a laugh.
Well, 195.3bhp @ 4427. Thats with 2k on the clock. See what happens when its run in.

That's good going. In fact, that's amazing (if standard) !

Don't know the torque, didn't think about it at the time.
Not quite standard got one of those plug in the loom things.

so that means its putting out probably about 170 or so normally which is the general concensus with the later 150s.

nice figure though.

That is quite good. As Stew already mentioned the latter 150's seem to be producing around to 170hp & 340Nm torque in OE form.

According to a dealer who posted on UK MkIVs a while back, the East Coast Racing boxes are made by the same supplier who do the van Aaken tuning boxes.

He said the compnentry is the same, just the labels and casing colours change (and the price  )

From my understanding most of the HDI's clutchs can not handle much more torque than comes standard on car. Easily solved with an uprated sport clutch.

can you feel that dip around 2800-3100rpm on the road?

Probably as it's noticeable with a stock car..

Nope but it's good for 150mph though. On a private road!!!

doesn't help that the cable is self adjusting.
