Hi guys, i fitted HID bulbs the other day and they work fine and look quality! however i noticed that when i turn them on all the dials on the dash reset.. so when they come on the rev, temp, and fuel gauges all drop down to the bottom them come up again, and the trip resets and so does the mpg and clock etc, ive checked that i wired them in properly and i have, has anyone had a simular problem? or knows what it might be? thanks

same issue here and have been recommended a separate relay loom to feed em direct off the battery but as yet bought but not tested it

if you have twin gti lamps as well look behind the battery in the inner wing for a yellow wire feeding to the resistor for the sides too and unplug it.

I found the problem and it was just a loose wire that goes to the headlights, never does it now :)

i have this problem but i have fitted the r8 projector style headlights and there is no loose wires and i have fitted the relay wiring loom direct from the battery but no difference?
will try unplugging the yellow plug tomoz see if that helps

what wire was loose on yours?
